Join the Thrive Lactation Center Team
Focus on Families. We'll Handle the Rest.
At Thrive Lactation Center, we believe lactation consultants should spend their time supporting families—not managing billing, marketing, scheduling, insurance claims, technology platforms, or business operations. We're growing and looking for compassionate, evidence-based IBCLCs who want the flexibility of independent contractor work while enjoying the support of an established, full-service lactation practice.
What Makes Thrive Different?
Many lactation consultants dream of private practice but quickly discover that running a business means wearing multiple hats: marketer, biller, scheduler, administrator, credentialing specialist, and technology manager.
At Thrive, we've built the systems so you don't have to.
We provide:
Patient referrals and marketing
Scheduling and administrative support
Insurance billing and credentialing
Electronic medical records and documentation systems
Clinical workflows and resources
Ongoing support from an experienced team
Established brand recognition and reputation
You simply:
See patients
Complete your clinical documentation
Get paid
No overhead. No billing headaches. No chasing referrals. No building a business from scratch.
The Flexibility of Contract Work, Without the Isolation
Our contractor model is ideal for IBCLCs who want flexibility and autonomy while still being part of a supportive clinical team.
Whether you're looking to:
Supplement your current income
Reduce hospital hours
Transition toward private practice
Build a sustainable lactation career
Create a schedule that works for your family
Thrive allows you to practice on your terms while we handle the business side.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking clinicians who are:
Currently certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and in good standing
Passionate about helping families meet their feeding goals
Professional, compassionate, and evidence-based in their approach
Comfortable documenting clinical encounters in an electronic medical record
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage a flexible schedule
Excited to be part of a collaborative and supportive clinical team
Preferred backgrounds include nursing, maternal-child health, NICU, postpartum, pediatric, family medicine, and community health.
Active IBCLC certification is required.
Why Thrive?
Because supporting families is hard enough.
You shouldn't also have to worry about websites, software subscriptions, insurance contracts, marketing plans, billing systems, scheduling tools, and business expenses.
We believe great lactation consultants should be able to focus on what they do best: caring for families.
If you're looking for maximum flexibility, meaningful work, and the support of a team that has already built the infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.
