How long does it take to check my coverage?
During business hours, we check coverage typically within 1-2 hours. Some plans can take longer to communicate with to verify coverage. At most this takes 24 hours.
Will I have a copay?
Most plans cover IBCLC visits at no cost; others may have copays/coinsurance or apply a deductible amount. We confirm before your visit.
How many visits are covered?
Varies by plan. Some cover unlimited lactation visits, while others have a visit limit; we’ll check your limits.
Are virtual visits covered?
Many plans do cover telelactation. We’ll verify your telehealth eligibility.
Do I need a referral?
No. You do not need a physician referral to utilize our lactation services.
